What is the Cost of Medical Tattooing?
We can help you with the entire process. We have hired a team of professionals to help you do the negotiation for you with the insurance companies. In case of no insurance, we have payment plans to help you achieve your goals today.
At Vitalcare Medical Spa & Shades of Blak Studios, we are honored to offer Areola & Nipple tattooing services by highly experienced professionals. The cost for these procedures typically ranges from $450–$800 for unilateral (one-sided) tattoos and $1,600–$2,000 for bilateral (both sides) tattoos. Pricing may vary depending on factors such as the number of sessions needed and any preparatory treatments, including chemical peels or microneedling, to optimize the skin for tattooing.
Insurance and Coverage
Some insurance plans cover nipple tattooing. Medicare often provides coverage, although it is not federally mandated, and Medicaid coverage varies by state. If your tattooing procedure is performed at a plastic surgeon’s office or hospital, the facility can usually handle the insurance claim for you. However, if you receive your tattoo at an independent studio, you will likely need to pay out of pocket and submit the claim to your insurance independently.
We are proud to share that Vitalcare Medical Spa & Shades of Blak Studios accepts insurance for this procedure.
